Cem Erdem was born in 1971 in Ankara and is originally from Çaykara, Trabzon. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara. In 1992, he graduated from the Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Maritime, Department of Marine Engineering Operations. Between 1992 and 1997, he worked in the maritime transportation sector in both public and private institutions as a Watch Engineer and Second Engineer (Unlimited). From 1997 to 1999, he served as a Maritime Expert Assistant at the Undersecretariat for Maritime Affairs of the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Türkiye, and from 1999 to 2003, he held engineering and managerial positions in the private sector within the energy and construction industries. From 2005 to 2008, he served as Head of the Ship Inspection Department, and from 2008 to 2012, as Head of the Maritime Affairs Department within the Undersecretariat for Maritime Affairs. Between 2012 and 2015, he worked at the Ministry of Transport and Communications as a Ministerial Advisor; between 2015 and 2019, he served as Head of the Training and Certification Department at the Directorate General for Maritime and Inland Waters Regulation; and from 2019 to 2020, he held the position of Deputy Director General for Maritime Affairs. Between 2020 and 2022, he served as Head of Offshore Operations Department at the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO). From 2022 to 2023, he worked as Deputy General Manager at Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center Inc. (TP-OTC), a subsidiary of TPAO. Between January 11, 2024 and October 31, 2025, he served as Member of the Board and CEO of TP-OTC Inc. As of November 2025, he has been serving as the Chairman of the Board and General Manager of TPAO. Mr. Erdem is married and has two children.

Ahmet Berat Çonkar, Member of the Board of Directors of Turkish Petroleum Corporation since November 2023, was born in Ankara in 1976. Originally from Bolu, Gerede. Business Administration Specialist; he graduated from Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. He completed his Master's degree in Business Administration at the University of Miami, USA. He received an International Business Management Certificate from the same university. He held various positions as a manager for private sector in Türkiye and American Express in the USA. He served as an advisor to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the field of Economy and Foreign Policy. He carries out the Foreign Affairs Advisory activities of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. He was elected as Istanbul Deputy in the 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th terms. He served as Vice President of Foreign Affairs of AK Party Headquarters. He served as a Member of the European Union Cohesion Commission in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Co-Chairman of the Türkiye-EU Joint Parliamentary Commission, and Chairman of the Turkish Group of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA). He continues to serve as the Co-President of the Turkish - Russian Social Forum, which he assumed in 2014. He was appointed as Deputy Minister of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources on 22 June 2023. Çonkar, who speaks very good English and intermediate Spanish, is married and the father of three children.

Arslan Narin, Member of the Board of Directors of Turkish Petroleum Corporation since November 2023, was born in Vezirköprü in 1970. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law. He was appointed as a Treasury Lawyer by passing the Treasury Lawyer exam being in the first place held by the Ministry of Finance. He started working as a lawyer at the RTÜK. He served as Legal Advisor at RTÜK in 2008, as the 1st Legal Advisor in 2009, and then was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Board in 2011. He served as a Chief Legal Counsellor and Directorate General of Trial in the Ministry of Finance, then served as the II. President of Competition Authority. He was appointed as Deputy General Manager responsible for legal, human resources and administrative affairs of Kardemir Karabük Iron and Steel Factories Joint Stock Company. Mr. Narin, who was appointed as the Counsellor of Ministry at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in 2023, was assigned as General Manager of Management Services in the same year. He was appointed as General Manager of the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs on the 15th of September, 2023.

Muhammet Faruk Aykut, Member of the Board of Directors of Turkish Petroleum Corporation since December 2023, graduated from Ankara University, Department of Economics. He received his second Bachelor's degree from Ankara University, Department of Law. He has a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Georgia in the USA, a Master's degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University and a Master's degree in Finance from Hacettepe University. He started his career in 2004 as an Intern Treasury Controller at the Undersecretariat of Treasury. Within the Undersecretariat of Treasury, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance; he served as Treasury Controller since 2008, Head of Department since 2015, Deputy General Manager since 2016, and Berlin Treasury and Finance Chief Counselor in 2023. He was appointed as Deputy General Manager of the Directorate General of State Owned Enterprises of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in October 2023. Muhammet Faruk Aykut is entitled to receive a Free Accountant and Financial Consultant, and Independent Auditor license. He is married and the father of three children.
